Strange White Space

Hi,

I’ve got a weird thing happening. In Webflow, this site looks fine, no white spaces between sections, however, when I load it to my test server, it’s got white bands throughout. I don’t see anything strange on the back end, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Mike

Hi @mhyusi It looks like, before you uploaded your code, it was modified. The tags right after the body tag, like meta is in the wrong place:

CloudApp

All of those should be in the head tag

Hope this helps

UPDATE:

Figured it out. There was a problem cutting and pasting from Muse to Webflow, of all things, it was quotation marks. If I cut and paste, without copying the quotation marks, everything was fine. There was something in the Muse coding of the quotation marks that was throwing it all off.

Lesson here, Muse was great, to a point, but the generated code just stunk at times.

Thank you for the help those of you that got in touch.

Mike

Hi, and thanks for the info.

I went and rebuilt the site from scratch, and I’m still having the same issue.

Also, where is the blue in the menu item coming from? Seems like no matter what I do, I can’t center the menu items on the page, and that blue keeps showing up.

The other thing I’ve noticed is that my code is looking all muddled up, it’s not wrapping. Is there a setting someplace in the site settings that could be screwing this up? I’ve looked everyplace and don’t see anything.

Thank you again for any help, really appreciate it.

Mike
