SSL on Custom Domain using Cloudflare as DNS

Having a difficult time getting SSL to work on a custom domain. I ended up setting the DNS through Cloudflare but still not successful.

Question

  • on Cloudflare what SSL/TLS encryption mode? Off or Full?
  • Can this work on free Cloudflare?

I went with the CNAME route:

You might need to remove the A records since that overrides the CNAME entries.
