Split background colours

Hi folks. Would really appreciate some help with this one. Creating some cool animations, but who knew, I’d get stumped at something so simple.

All I’m trying to do is a column or grid to show 2 different background colors. I’ve tried overlapping the gradients. But this only seems to work with black and white.

Any ideas of how to recreate something so simple from this tutorial?

Thanks
Gareth.

I understand you want to create a block with the upper section white and the lower section black as in the column that has $11.50 in the above screenshot. Is this correct? Without seeing your project I would suggest using a div block for each area.

Hi Paul. Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. Really appreciate it. I’ve managed to split it just like you stated, using the div blocks. I used an old page builder app for many months, which allowed me to split the background easily using the gradient option. On here is seems you can only do this using black and white with the overlap.

This will take a bit of getting used to.

Thanks again for your help with this.

Gareth.
