Slider Pause on Hover then Resume

I have seen this asked 4 years ago with no clear resolve…

I am wondering if the slider can have the option to pause when a user hovers over it…let’s say to read information from the element in the slider…then resume it’s normal sliding course.

This is a serious need for me at this time.
