I have no idea what I am doing, and this is my first post so if this is in the wrong place, please let me know where would be better.
When searched in google I am seeing that the sitelinks on my pages don’t match up with the title tags I have set in webflow. How do I change the descriptions, for instance the one under “routine cleaning”??
Here is my site Read-Only: Webflow - Cleaning Crew Charleston
(how to share your site Read-Only link)
You have very little control over sitelinks.
Page titles are typically picked up by Google for the main SERP entry, and from collection pages those are controlled here. It looks like Google is just using the first part of your page title up to the hyphen as the sitelink
Thanks! I guess my question wasn’t great. I was more so saying the description, so in my example where it says “Image of a professional cleaned 2 story…” below Routine Cleaning. Is there anywhere I could change the description as it is displayed on the sitelink?
The same answer. Basically Google will use what it wants. If you have a good META description it might use it.
OH ok thanks this is super helpfulu
