Site crashing on mobile

I am having a really bizarre issue here. I’m using barba.js for page transitions and I think it might be related to that but I haven’t had anything like this before so really not sure. On mobile only I have the site crash constantly (I’ve only tested iOS so far). To replicate, scroll down to the first block you see of the smiley bubbles, click projects to change page and then go back to the homepage, scroll down to bubbles and the site crashes. There are 4 videos on the page which are no larger than 2mb each so hardly huge, served via Flowdrive in a custom element

I’ve checked the site through the safari inspector and it looks like when you go back to the homepage, it sometimes loads some of the videos multiple times? I’m not very experienced using the inspector this way so I’m not quite sure myself.

Hey @DavidFerguson, that is a cool website you have @DavidFerguson, great job. I tested the site on my iPhone and it works normally, from home I scroll down to the bubbles and it plays, then click on projects, the transition works great, then I go back home, the transition plays and I can scroll back to the bubbles with no issues, and the bubbles play normally. A lot of times mobile devices will not show movie-components based on multiple things, like settings with power mode, internet connection, etc, I would suggest you to go to an Apple store near you and test your site on multiple iPhones and tablets. I hope this helps!

Hey Pablo, cheers for taking a look! I’d managed to fix the problem yesterday by lazy loading in the videos, I think it was just a GPU spike causing the issue
