I’ve created a search experience similar to the one you can see here:

The problem is that I’ve just turned the opacity of the search layer div until someone click the search icon at the navbar. That works ok but the problem is that this “hidden” layer is not allowing the user to click on anything on the page (you can click the top cards now because of that.
How can I solve this?
