I took over an OWN Carousel website. Dont have experience in these. Noticed that the site has robots problem from a contact form. I’d like to know if there is a module that handles the emails part from the Contact form to deactivate till I secure the site.

You can put in a recaptcha so any form submissions need to prove they are human. Have you tried that?
Yes, that is possible. However I was curious which module is responsible for it.
