Responsive navbar with vertical bar and horizontal divs

Hey everyone,

I’m trying to make a unique navbar that contains a vertical bar and horizontal divs as bars as well. I want to make it responsive so that it scales as the window moves but it’s not doing exactly what I want and I’m puzzled as to what I need to do to make it work.

Here’s the mockup I am working with:

The orange and gray vertical bars run through the whole website including the footer. right now I have them included in the navbar as well. Is this the best route? If not, what are some suggestions folks have?

I appreciate any help. Thanks!

Hi @dgennrich  Can you provide a design how it should looks?

The screenshot is how it should look. Here’s a more complete screenshot. I am starting to think using images instead of divs may be better:

Thanks for replying!

What about set position “Fixed” instead “Absolute”?:full_moon_with_face:
