Remove/modify hreflang="lang code" head tag with localization?

Hi,

With localization enabled, the following head tag is added automatically for a locale:

<link rel="alternate" hrefLang="zh-CN" href="https://demo.example.com/zh-cn/" />

However, I’m using webflow behind a proxy which would serve the localized page at zh-cn.demo.example.com. How can I change the generated URL in this tag or remove it?

Cool idea… but if you are trying to re-structure your site as locale.site.com/.. rather than site.com/locale/.., you’ll likely have a lot more work to do re locale-switcher, auto-detection, sitemap, etc.

This part, rewriting rel=alternate links is pretty trivial to do in your reverse proxy.

I don’t think Webflow has a way to custom-configure the way localization works, so that’s probably your best option.

Thanks. Guess I have to modify the page content in my proxy.
