Is it possible to use reCAPTCHA on some forms, but not sitewide?
I have some forms that are merely just button triggers for zapier automation. The WF settings imply turning reCAPTCHA on will be for all forms on my site.
Can I enable reCAPTCHA just for select forms?

Not when using Webflow as the form handler. Other third party tools let you choose to on a form by form basis.

So what actually happens if you turn it on and don’t put the recaptcha on a form? The form will fail to submit?

Yes. ReCaptcha once enabled affects all forms as described in the Webflow University. https://university.webflow.com/lesson/recaptcha?topics=elements
