We are using Local on a site.
When choosing the secondary local, then going back to the original local we get this parameter “/?r=0”
Possible to get rid of this?

Are you using the pro setup with auto-routing?
I have not tested this however I suspect this is a solution designed to fix an earlier routing issue.
For example, site is English, alt German.
German user visits / and is auto redirected to /de/.
User then changes the selector to English, and is directed to /?r=0
I think that the reason for the querystring is to tell the routing engine not to do anything, otherwise, they’ve be sent back to /de/ again.
