Problem with a collection and a link on the footer

Hi Webflow Forum :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

  • now it’s been more than a year since I’ve worked with Webflow because I’ve been sick. And today I had to go in and change something on a website I made approx. 2 years ago. And it’s a site with a collection that I can’t figure out regariding the links - - it simply doesn’t work. I think Webflow have changed a lot in the last six months, so I haven’t been able to keep it up, -
  • Is there anyone who can help me?
The problem is this collection on this site: - it doesn’t work when you click on pictures and all the links.
  • and one more problem: it’s a component called “Footer Mizpa”, which I just had to change the link and name, - but I can’t change the name, only the link??
I don’t understand why I can’t change that name. I could do that before!
It is the “footer”, where I have to change “Andaktir” to Barnasídan, - but I’m not allowed to do that (see here, it’s this text I want to change in the red box
Thank you so much for helping me :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Yes it’s changed a lot.

To edit components ( prev. “symbols” ), use ALT-double-click to edit the master, the same way you used to edit symbols. If you’ve already created instance settings on a field ( easy to do accidentally ) you may need to unbind it, you’ll see that option in the right-side settings menu.

On your collection list, it looks like you have all of your images linked to /heim, while your buttons are linked properly to each collection item. Look at your button link settings and apply the same thing to your the link surrounding your image.

Oh, - dear. I can’t remember how to do this?
is it possible to get a little movie (loom movie) of this?

  • I have been so seriously ill? And has been in the hospital??
  • it almost looks like you have to learn Webflow all over again? - or? I have spent a lot of money for approx. 3 years ago, to teach me Webflow, - but now that I haven’t worked with Webflow for over a year, everything is so new, - that it seems like you have to learn everything all over again? - - is that the point?

Fantastic!! Thank you SOOOO much Michael Wells
