Pre-Home Page To Filter Users

Hi there,

I am working on a site build for an Automotive Claims business. When entering the website, they would like to have a page that presents the user with two button options. One button would send the user (dealership owners) to the site home page and the other button would be for customers to immediately begin the “File A Claim” process.

I am wondering what the best way to create this pre-home page is?

Thoughts:
• A fixed, full-screen modal that lives on the home page
• Make the website home page actually just a page with the two buttons on it.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

If the site needs to rank don’t do option two.

Hey, what have you decided in the end? I have the same dilemma, and don’t know which one to choose to not affect the SEO of my site. I have created almost everything and I only have to decide about this one. As a person who doesn’t have any specific knowledge in building sites, it wasn’t quite difficult for me to make it, I was mainly helped by this article https://www.boxmode.com/authors-website-builder which guided me step by step. By the way, thanks in advance for your reply.
