I have been trying to figure out all day why my button states aren’t working. I know they are inherited in order (hover, pressed, focused), although I can’t understand why my text isn’t white when it is focused and the black button is behind the text.

You have different colours assigned to the different states on ‘Text Block 2’, if you reset all of these and set the colour via ‘CF | Home Tab Link’, it’ll also change the text in the box when you interact with the button, rather than needing to be interacting with the text element.
Thanks, Matthew. I am trying to clear the multiple states to the text box by clicking each manually and hitting ‘Escape’ on the keyboard. It doesn’t seem to clear the blue dot and state.
What am I missing? Thank you so much for your help.
select the text element, then go through each of the states which have the blue dot, and hold option (on a mac, alt? on a pc) while clicking color to reset it to the inherited value. The word color should change to orange to show its worked.
