Perplexed by text not wrapping within a div

I’m perplexed by the behavior of a div with a width of 320 pixels, with a long heading inside that only wraps if I double-click on the text.

This may be something simple that I’m not getting, but I’m not getting it. Any advice or insight would be appreciated.

The easiest way I found to fix this is to make your text break like shown in the photo below on the heading. (Pre Line)
