Paste from multiple MS Word documents

I need to paste content from roughly 20 multi-page MS Word documents as well as from e-mails into various pages on my site. It is all resumé and continuing education information full of dates and very uncommon words and spelling so retyping would be a colossal pain. Plus, each individual had their own style and formatting methods on the original documents. I have been struggling with this for a long time and have not found any way to do it that doesn’t result in all kinds of weird formatting and/or everything becomes its own paragraph and formatting becomes all but impossible. Tried text, rich text, paragraph, etc. Tried copying to Excel first, copying to WordPad, paste as plain text, etc.
Is there anything you can suggest to make this easier??
