In my sites, the password works fine, but it it’s mis-entered or blank, you’ll get a 404.

Try selecting it and check the settings. Although it’s not a standard Webflow form, it may still have that option. If not, you can do it with custom code. You’ll need to share your readonly designer link if you have more questions, I can’t see your designer setup without it.
