Page section links not working

Hi, I have set up some buttons to link to a section within this page. When I click the link, the URL updates correctly to /grant-programme#sdgp-apply-section
It is correctly spelt, matching the ID and class name of the section.

Anyone know how to fix this??

Hi Grace,

If you’re using Webflow’s native navigation, you’ll want that section to be top level, a direct child of the body element.

Currently you have that section within another section which may be confusing things.

Hi Michael! I moved the navigation to be a direct child of the body and the page now scrolls a little bit when I click the buttons. However it stops and does not go all the way to the linked section. I tried a fix from another article and have set all images to ‘eager’ load rather than ‘lazy’ but this hasn’t made a difference. Do you have any suggestions?

You haven’t shared your designer readonly link, so I can only see the HTML in your published page.

You can see you have a section within a section within a div.

You’ll want your sections top-level, immediate children of the body element.
