Page Name v Slug V SEO settings - not made clear

Hi
So i watched all the videos on page settings but it’s not mentioned

So the question is - the PAGE NAME- is it in anyway part of search engine spidering? is it in anyway presented to the viewer (i don’t see that it is)

DOES IT MATTER WHAT MY PAGE NAMES ARE?

also cos i’m new to SEO, does the actual URL SLUG matter to search engines?

for example if site page slugs are something like:

Site/Jackets-1
Site/Jackets-2
Site/Jackets-3

should it rather be something more descriptive like:

Site/ski-jackets
Site/rainproof-jackets
Site/summer-jackets

etc

what say you?

rsvp
cheers

Here is my site Read-Only: LINK
(how to share your site Read-Only link)

Choose the latter. Keywords in URL’s do tend to benefit sites.

Just expanding on Jeff’s statement, I believe:
Page Names - no effect, just used for Webflow organistion;
Title Tag - important and used for SEO;
URL/Slug - important and used for SEO;

As mentioned, using appropriate keywords in titles, descrptions and URL’s can benefit SEO. Good luck in your journey!

Thanks,
so in summary, PAGE NAMES are not seen by search engines etc and are only relevant ‘internally’ to webflow
