On the main page, I’ve made the hovering chevron linked to a section in the same page. The problem is, the page automatically goes to the section by itself after loading. The problem only occurs on a published page.

While testing your published site, I couldn’t reproduce the described behavior - here is a screencast with what I’m seeing on my end.
I also noticed that the ‘chevron’ link is not working on the live site, but is functioning as expected on the preview version - Can you please republish your site, so that any changes made can be reflected on the live site?
Can you also please try the following:
(1) Try to reproduce the error while being logged into Webflow using Incognito mode with browser extensions turned off: Browse in private - Computer - Google Chrome Help
(2) If the problem persists, please take a screenshot of your Console and send it to me: Chrome DevTools - Chrome Developers

Hi Nita, It was a mistake on my end 
I was keep refreshing the page with a section link (i.e. Matthew Yoon), expecting the page to go back to the main page(i.e. www.matthewyoon.com).
