I’m having a problem with what seems like padding that’s appearing between the navbar and hero section of a site I’m working on. It doesn’t show up when I preview but when I publish. Behaviour is the same across browsers. Help!
This is the published site:
WeMakeGyms are experienced fitness specialists dedicated to the design, supply and management of innovative, industry-leading gyms in private homes, residential developments, corporate sites and commercial spaces throughout the UK and worldwide....
Here is my public share link: https://preview.webflow.com/preview/wemakegyms?preview=03aedc759cdc87bbe3ea08850bdfd901
(how to access public share link )
Hi @spincinconi , thanks for the post. It seems this is happening due to some custom code that is:
not wrapped by tags
document.ready code should be put in the Footer of the site: Custom code in head and body tags | Webflow University
Remove the embed with the custom code that is under the body, and the issue should go away:
The reason this happens in the published site only, is that custom code is not rendered in preview mode, only on site publish.
I hope this helps, if not, let me know and I am happy to assist further
Hey @cyberdave . Thanks for your help… all’s well now!!
