Overlapping elements in grid

Hi there,

I’m about to build a website with a lot of sections that utilize the attached design concept with overlapping elements in a grid.

I would like to build the whole site using grid, so I’m looking on good advice on how to create these kinds of overlapping layouts. Both images and coloured boxes should be vertically aligned to the grid.

Any ideas?

hi @larshartmann what research you have done so far on you own? You are asking about basic CSS Grid functionality and there is a zillion resources (including WF) on internet related to this topic including this forum.
