Overflow on viewports & unresponsive nav menu

Hello everyone!

Currently, I’m facing a roadblock with the finishing touches of my website; when I switch to smaller viewports, there’s a slight overflow to the right, but I can’t find out where it is coming from. I’ve checked everything: body, sections, and parent elements.

Also, my nav menu button is unresponsive, which stops me from pulling the menu options on smaller viewports.

Please let me know what I can do to fix this. Thank you.

Can you share your published staging link as well?

Here it is:

Looks like it’s this hero image causing the overflow on the About page

Try setting the width to 100% instead of 100vw. When using vw it includes the width of scrollbars so it’s adding the horizontal scroll so you can see beneath the vertical scrollbar.

I’m not sure why your nav button isn’t working, I would try recreating it with a brand new Navbar component.

Thank You very much, Will do!
