New website 'hangs' for 4-5 before rendering

This is my first time creating a Webflow website for our Human Services nonprofit, and the site stalls/hangs for 4-5 seconds on every page before loading. I chose a super basic template, and everything was good until we went live.

I use a custom font but limit instances of it to the bare essentials.
Converted images to webP format.
I deleted all styles I’m not using.
I run two scripts, one for a donation platform and one for ADA compliance, but when I removed those and tested the site without them, the loads didn’t improve.

Any suggestions?

I did not have any issues but there was major outages of infrastructure today across the world due to a MS issue. Maybe it affects you. It would appear to be local to you and check status.webflow.com just in case.
