At the end of a sites’ development, once the basic SEO configuration and structure are done, and the SEO strategy in place, SEO artists need to have a real access to the site to fine tune things. Mostly wording. And this for half an hour (or more depending on the size of the site and the depth of the SEO strategy) every day for a week and a half or two. They adjust wording depending on the Goodle Console results.
We tried non connected methods but it’s a hassle to report and a pain to apply changes.
All my future sites will have an SEO strategy, needing such a role. Not every SEO strategy that exist requires that Google Console phase, but we believe that from now on, most of the strategies based on unique content creation will need it.
I don’t know what the ideal solution could be. It’s currently too expensive and not very appropriate to use a Team Plan for having an SEO rule. Ideally, the SEO role gives editing capabilities on all texts (CMS and static), images, and all the available ALT values. A super Editor role. Ideally we don’t have to pay for it, too
Thanks for listening!
Ideally, you could unveil this feature just after the release of the ICQ widget
