I’ve run into a weird problem when trying to use the timothy ricks stripe nav https://webflow.com/made-in-webflow/website/stripe-menu-tricks
When you first load the page, the first link you hover over, the dropdown cuts off the bottom padding, shown below
After hovering to another link and back the problem is fixed, if you have the link already open and refresh, the problem doesn’t happen.
I’ve figured out that it happens when I put the container of the dropdown content .menu_content to hidden, when I put it to display flex-box in the designer the problem is fixed. The reason wh I need this fixed, is in the real site the nav is fixed and the website is for a large company that have a team of content editors that need to adjust the pages content via the editor, but they can’t because the dropdown is on top of everything. So the nav needs to be hidden, but that problem pops up when it does.
I’ve tried multiple times to re-create exactly how Timothy ricks does it and look for the bug, but I can’t figure it out, the problem doesn’t exist in his cloneable. Can someone spot the issue?
