Navbar wrong resize when changing resolution

My site is working quite well except for my navbar. When I start with my phone upright and turn it to it’s side so that the resolution changes, the navbar doesn’t cover the whole top of the page (despite being set to 100%) when I then reload the page the navbar adjusts but is there any way to accomplish this automatically so that my navbar always looks right?

Can you supply a ‘Read-Only’ link to your project, so we can see how you have constructed your navbar and troubleshoot better.
