I having an issue (or more) with the navbar that I try to use on my website: https://preview.webflow.com/preview/franciskodak?preview=40e889e391cfd01b4161250590deffff
I don’t really know what is the reason of not working properly, but if you can give me some ideas how to fix it that would be great!
Here is my site Read-Only: LINK
(how to share your site Read-Only link)
For the start you dont use the Webflow Core Nav right. The hamburger menu should be inside the Nav component (You create custom hamburger as wrapper for the nav widget).
Start from Zero and create New Navbar (keep the structure!)
My advice. Look her for template with navbar you like and “learn how-to”:
If you want “animated hamburger” finish the project than try to add this [idea/trick] for the button: (https://codepen.io/designcouch/pen/Atyop).
Also search on the forum for “full width overlay navbar” and terms like this
Hi @Francis I would recommend re-building your navbar again, perhaps the fastest route will be to clone this project: https://webflow.com/website/Custom-Hamburger-Menus
Then you can simply copy and paste the nav over to you existing site and then modify it to meet your needs.
Please let me know if you have any questions
Great! Thank you! It’s made my life much easier! Can I ask you one more thing? I would like to have the navbar on the left-hand side rather on the right. Which I could change, but the direction of the links are wrong. I’ve tried to change it but I made thing worst …
Could you please let me know how can I do it?
Thanks for reaching back out @Francis!
If you select one of the nav links then you can change the text alignment style as is needed:
Thank you for getting back to me, however its still did not solve my problem.
I’ve made a screen video - https://www.useloom.com/share/5b8e866e022f42b98c08f8aee72b613e that will show you the problem in a bit more details.
Sorry, hope you can help!
