Mystery padding (page jiggles and I don't know why)

Hey guys, I just noticed that my page has some kind of a extra padding or something that makes it possible to scroll the page about 5 px right, so when scrolling with the trackpad it can be triggered. Same thing for the mobile version.

I saw another topic on the same issue and the guy said that inspecting the element helped him. However, when I tried to open that page and click inspect on the blank spot that scrolls, nothing is highlighted. I reviewed each segment of the page in code inspection and all of them appear to be within the permitted limits.

I need a pro eye. I believe the answer is on the surface, but I need more experience to spot it.

Thanks in advance!

It was footer. I have columns in footer and specifying max width for the columns element as 100% fixed this jiggles.
