Multi-Referenced Items

Hey There Community!

I am trying to build out my CMS using the free version of Webflow, just to see how I can work it out. For some reason, I cannot bind referenced items to a CMS list on my page. Is this a limitation of the free version, or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!
Alex

No, you should be able to use the CMS with up to 50 items on the free plan. Tell us what you are trying to do and we’ll be able to tell you what you are doing wrong.

I’m rebuilding an old site that was hacked and broken, so I have that to reference. Essentially, it’s an ongoing online film festival. My CMS collections would consist of Films, Fighters, and Fights. (It’s called filmfights, so there’s a theme there.) Anyway, I’ll use the automade pages for past fights, but the current fight is featured on the home page. I want to be able to pull information from the Films collection when binding the films to the fight on the front page. If that makes any sense.

Here’s the old site for reference:
https://www.filmfights.com/

Thanks!
Alex

Using a collection block, you can include the current Fight (using a filter), and, at most, one “nested collection”, i.e. Films or Fighters.
