I’m new to webflow and having some issues with my portfolio site design.
My desktop site is working fine, but i’m encountering some issues with the mobile version where the mobile navigation is sitting under my website content - if i change the z-index to bring it to the top, my link blocks stop working, but if i have the link blocks set to a higher z-index than the nav, the nav doesn’t cover them when it’s expanded.
Because the definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over expecting a different result, i was hoping a webflow expert could help me figure out a solution.
If you want the whole menu to cover the entire screen, with link blocks still working. I think you may have been setting positioning on ‘Nav Div’, instead of “Navbar”.
I’ve given this a go as you’ve suggested and it still seems to be not playing nice with my link blocks - i know it’s probably something very simple that i’m just no seeing… but i just can’t seem to figure it out…
I wasn’t able to figure out why it wasn’t working for me, so ended up tweaking the design a little in the short term, with a view to add the nav at the top back in at a later date when i add more content.
In the meantime it can be a one page site - having a seperate work page was probably a little redundant anyway.
Thanks for your suggestion though, i might try it again on another site and see if i have the same problem.
