Menu 'cross' close function not viewable

Hello,

I’ve copied and pasted a navigation menu over to this new blog design and I am having problems viewing the menu ‘cross’ to close the menu:

Additionally, can anyone please advise on how to open and close this menu so that I can design it, please?

Did you figure out how to edit the navigation menu cross?
I can’t find any documentation on how to edit it.

Recently @whitakereditions showed me where to go in the editor to edit the cross icon.

Here’s a post I made in the community with the answer:
