I have a slider and I want to change the color background of it to a purple gradient. I have done this on the content and it looks great only now the text in the slider is as if it is behind this layer and tinted purple even though the text font is white. The mask is to say the very least an inane concept in this world but … now it’s got me trapped. I can’t edit the text in the slider? And everything is purple… I just want a nice purple background with white text.
Hi there,
To improve text visibility over gradient backgrounds in your slider, you can make several style adjustments:
The Style panel offers multiple ways to enhance text visibility. You can adjust the text color to create better contrast with your background, add a text shadow for depth, or modify the gradient’s opacity to make the text more readable. For the best results, you can also add a semi-transparent overlay between your text and the gradient background.
To style your text effectively, access the Style panel, select your text element, and use the Color picker to choose a high-contrast color. The Text Shadow feature, found in the Effects section, can help your text stand out further by adding depth and definition.
Hopefully this helps! If you still need assistance, please reply here so somebody from the community can help.
No…that does not help.
I understand how to style the text, but what I am struggling with is that I can’t manage to style the background box and the text separately. I have my gradient set for the background box, and it is effecting the text - even though the text style panel is showing that it should be white 100% opacity.
I want the gradient transparent background and white solid text on top.
