Making the background image lock to any device view

Hello, I’m a beginner in webflow and I am looking for common knowledge to achieve my goal.

I’m looking to make a website where the background image is locked to the view on any device, So my image would take up the entire space and won’t change from a TV screen to a SmartPhone screen.

Hey Rezz. Welcome to the forums and Webflow!

To do this, you will want to us VH and VW units. If you set your bg image to 100 VH, it will take up 100% of the device’s height. You can read more here or you can share your read-only link and I can help you that way.

Hello and thank you very much for your help, This helped, and I am now a step further to victory.
Is there any way I can keep the same 16:9 aspect ratio on smaller resolutions and make the entire website go landscape view instead of portrait.

I wouldn’t because that’s not a good user experience. If you’re trying to do what I think you’re doing, I would suggest looking at how Apple manages aspect ratio issues across different devices.
