Making a collection route without a name

I’d like to move my blog posts from another platform to webflow.

The only problem before is at present my domain structure is myblogDOTcom/post-about-this-thing

It looks like for importing my blog posts into webflow I need to set a name for my collection? So it needs to be myblogDOTcom/blog/posts

Is there anyway I can keep my current URL structure and still move to Webflow?

Basically I want it to be .com/blog-post-thing not .com/blog/blog-post-thing

No. All collections have a collection slug.

Would I just make a new url in webflow and then 301 the old ones?

Yes, you can add redirects as needed.
