I want to make a color block appear when you view my page, that covers the entire screen, and a second or two later make it disappear from the screen (go upwards) but not when I scroll, just disappear on its own. I have put my inspiration for this as a video on my site, because I did not know how to put it here in the question, hehe. Please check my site for the example. Thank you!
While scroll-based animations are one option in Webflow, you can create automatic animations for color blocks using the Interactions panel. Here’s how you can make a color block appear and disappear automatically:
You can use Webflow’s built-in animations with triggers like “On Page Load” or “On Mouse Hover.” For an automatic animation, set up a timed animation using the “On Page Load” trigger, then add multiple actions to create the appear/disappear effect. You can control timing, duration, and even add loops to make the animation repeat.
For more complex animations, you can also combine multiple interactions or use Webflow’s custom animations feature to achieve exactly the effect you’re looking for.
Hopefully this helps! If you still need assistance, please reply here so somebody from the community can help.
It does not work. I will need some help with the entire process of placing a color block on top of everything to then make it move away. Can you help with this?
