Layout messed up after creating new pages

Hi there, I am new to Webflow and had recently took over the role to manage our company website (www.yojee.com), which was previously created by a designer in UK. I had recently created new pages on my own for the website and realised that it had messed up some of the parent settings and affected the rest of the pages. Now im at a loss as i cant figure out how to fix all the errors because whenever i changed one thing on one page, the rest keeps getting affected.

Nav Bar - logo and text layout is messed up

It should look like this:

Text stretched to right where image is

Here is my site Read-Only: Webflow - Yojee

Hi Fiona

Is it possible to revert a back-up? You’ll never be sure how many changes have effected the website overall.

I’d also recommend adding the chrome extension “Aidkit for Webflow” and enable warnings when affecting multiple elements.

Thanks @RoryVB for your reply. Revert to back-up - does this mean it goes back to the last original published site? Will I also lose the new pages which I had created?

Yes, you’ll lose the pages you’ve created. You can pick to which moment you would like to revert the backup to. You’ll have to decide if this is worth the trade-off.

If this isn’t an option, I could double-check for you if I can find the issue.

Thanks @RoryVB I had revert to back-up and all layout/design finally returned to the original published site. Can I get advise on how to create new pages again without affecting the rest of the pages or parents settings? It has been quite a terrible experience as I am not familiar with Webflow even though i had gone through the basic training.

Great! I understand that it’s frustrating to start over again, but I think it’s the best solution for now.

One of the most important things to look out for, is if you are changing classes that are used on other pages; The extension that I send earlier has a feature which gives you a warning when this happens and also highlights when this is the case:

If this is in fact the case, you can prevent this by either duplicating the class that it already has, or giving it a combo class (this means adding another class to the element which already has one) so that it has its own unique styling.
