I don’t know where to put this, but the previous bug was filed under community resources so I am doing the same.
I am trying to make a simple website in Korean. When I try to type in Korean in the design window, weird stuff happens. The cursor jumps back to the beginning randomly, random nonbreaking spaces are happening, and text gets duplicated, but I can’t delete the duplicated text??? It’s trying to spell check people’s names also I think, which I absolutely do not want. Help. This lack of support for something so simple makes me want to just abandon webflow entirely.
I’ve never encountered any issues, but I generally copy-paste more than type, and primarily Japanese, some Chinese.
The behavior you’re describing sounds more like a general conflict, most likely a browser extension like an ad blocker that’s block Webflow’s normal operation.
I am not the original poster, but I am experiencing the same issue. I am currently testing a migration from an existing WordPress site, but this issue is making me reconsider the transition.
When searching online, I found many similar cases, but no real solutions—only workarounds like writing in another text editor and then pasting the text. However, I am looking for a fundamental fix, not just a temporary workaround.
Since browser extensions were mentioned, I have tested by disabling all extensions, switching from macOS to a Windows environment, and using Safari instead—but the issue persists in all cases.
I believe this is a critical problem for Korean users.
I really hope this issue gets resolved.
