Javascript to display a back link only if there is a previous page

Hi guys,

I wonder if it is possible to make a link (eg. a “Back” link, wrapped inside a div with a specific class) to display only if the current browser tab history has a previous page.

If that page is a newly opened page on a new tab, the “Back” part will be hidden.
