Issue with connecting a custom domain & subdomain

Hi to everyone,

I have the following issue with publishing my project to a custom domain and subdomain.

I have already once connected successfully a custom domain. But I have not yet connected a subdomain.

All the instructions seemed pretty straight forwarding with adding the various records in my domain settings.

I get the green light from webflow that both the domain and the subdomain have been connected successfully

However, once I publish the project to the domain and the subdomain or even only the domain I get a “ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS” error message.

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Hey @illray

Try setting the www subdomain as the default domain and publish again.

Webflows A records for root domains redirect to the www subdomain by default. If you set the root as default it creates a redirect loop.
