Is it possible to exclude the Webflow.io link from GA?

Hi there,

I’m just setting up the Google Analytics for my site, but I’m struggling to find if there’s a way to completely block the example-website.webflow.io link from interfering with the results.

I’m on the website a lot, so it’s going to mess with the reports.

Does anybody know how to do this?

Thank you

wouldn’t you just exclude your IP address from the results? It’s a standard option in most analytic software

I’ve done this, but it won’t work if I for example go on the website on my phone and I’m not at home connected to WIFI. Which is often

ah, okay, sorry, didn’t think about that scenario! I can’t help you further, I don’t use GA. Shocker, I know, lol! It does allow for lots of adaptations so I’m sure someone will be able to point you in the right direction.

Excluding yoursite.webflow.com from analytics tracking when you have a custom domain.

  1. Select Predefined filter to select from the predefined filter types.

Exclude/Include only traffic to the hostname : use this filter to exclude/include only traffic to a particular hostname (such as sales.example.com or support.example.com).

So I am still struggling with this… is there a GA4 update to this?

@Hala_Mirza - This support page at Google should address your question / get you started.

Thank you! I’ll take a look at it.
