Hello, theres’ something buggy going on right now with one of my published sites.
It appears as though all H3’s or some headlines on my site are showing an interaction of Text Reveal.
But, I never added any.
When I check the site editor, in the Interactions Panel > Classic, and GSAP to see if any interactions were added (there are none).
But when I look on my site (jaytrang.com), it looks like interactions have been added to all my H3’s. Or, my interactions were shifted. Essentially there’s interactions showing up / added where they shouldn’t be, but the editor isn’t showing that there is any added.
I’ve noticed there are interactions showing on my published site that’s not showing that they’re added in the backend (editor).
Perhaps something shifted with the recent site updated? Any suggestions?
To resolve unexpected H3 element behavior on your published site, here are some key areas to check:
The issue often stems from inheritance or interaction settings. Check the H3 elements’ parent containers and verify their interaction settings in the Elements panel. Look for any animations, transitions, or scroll effects that might be affecting the H3s. Also ensure that your H3 styles are properly set in the Style panel and not being overridden by custom code or conflicting class settings.
For a thorough review, you can also check the Navigator panel to see if there are any unexpected parent-child relationships affecting your H3 elements. If the issue persists, examining your site’s custom code for any CSS that might be targeting H3 elements would be worthwhile.
Hopefully this helps! If you still need assistance, please reply here so somebody from the community can help.
My guess is there might be some sort of Scroll into view trigger enabled on the page directly and not on the H3 element specifically (hence you might not be able to see any interaction linked to it, when you select H3 element).
You can check if any scroll interaction (via Classic / GSAP) is enabled on the page or main wrapper elements in which all these content resides on the page.
Hope this gives you some idea. If you can’t find any such interaction, you can share the read-only link of the site to troubleshoot this in a better way.
Thanks! Yeah, i’m not really seeing where thse interctions are enabled. They’re not enabled on the Classic / GSAP view.
Nor can I find if there’s a parent class who has an interaction added that’s influencing all other clases. I definitely can see that its mainly applying to all classes labeled
Also, on my About Page, my main H1 has an interaction loaded correctly (Page Load, Split Text Reveal), but then this H1 disppears. And, I can’t find anywhere in the GSAP Interactions Panel that shows it does this.
Its very odd, the accordions on this page had an interaction just to open and close them, but some how there’s a different interation that took over (page scroll into view reveal split text added).
I do see a commonality / pattern that its a class: heading-style-h3 that has this new unwanted interaction. But, I can’t find the source.
I don’t see these interactions in the Preview Mode in the Editor, but they’re showing up on my main published site.
I’ve been thinking about just removing and adding these Headings and Paragraph Text, and re-add interacdtions where needed.
I did find it coincidental that my site was a little funky since I upgraded my domains. I wasn’t sure if others were experiencing similar
As an addition to the comment of @AJ_Dev I saw that on the About page you have multiple GSAP animations that target your H1 (for example “(Home) Hero Tagline 2“ and “(Home) Header Page Load“) which I think makes your H1 disappear.
I recommend you to go through all animations and only activate them for the pages you need them on (in the screenshot below you can see where you can activate/deactivate GSAP animations per page). I think this fixes your issue with the disappearing H1 title.
