Interaction happening before element is triggered

I created a custom mobile menu nav button that is open by default when you visit the page on a smaller screen width. This menu should be closed and only open when you press the hamburger icon.

Also, the cursor should be a pointer, not the default mouse, which I have set in the design, but it doesn’t show up…
