Integrate a custom checkout system to accept Bitcoin as a payment method

Hello, Webflow community,

I’m considering using Webflow to build a landing page for my business. I want to accept Bitcoin (Bitcoin only please! I’m not interested in alt-coin) as a payment. I have two questions:

  1. Does Webflow’s out-of-the-box payment solution accepts bitcoin? (I’m assuming that Webflow processes payment through Stripe and PayPal only?)
  2. If I want to integrate my own payment system like BTC Payserver from scratch, is this possible? and how complicated would this be?

Good idea! But have you heard about vexel wallet? There you can buy Bitcoin using your debit/credit card instantly or withdraw it & fiat funds to external wallets and bank accounts.

Did you get anywhere with this as I need to do the same thing, either with BTCPay or LNBits.

Hi Tom, you’re right—Webflow’s native setup only supports Stripe and PayPal, so no direct Bitcoin option out of the box. That said, you can integrate something like BTCPay Server, but it’ll take some custom coding—think embedding widgets or using a third-party API via custom code blocks. It’s doable, just not drag-and-drop easy. Also, worth mentioning—crypto platforms tend to offer high commission rates, especially compared to traditional affiliate models.
