We’re migrating our site to webflow 
and I have a fairly detailed question for our CTO. I’ve search the forums and havent found an answer, but I’m in marketing so this is WAYYY over my head. 
There is some angst about not being able to use robots.txt at staging versus production domains to control indexing.
We understand there’s a toggle in the SEO tab of the settings area that allows us to disable indexing of sub-domains. However, we’re not sure what that means at a deeper level.
Can anyone shed light on how this implemented if the robots.txt is not different between the two domains (production vs staging)? I need to give my CTO more info before this becomes a blocker.
