Images Disappearing Randomly

Hi,

From time to time some of my images just disappear and look like they never existed (image below).

The original image is always in the asset manager.

I have no idea what causes it, it only applies to some images and I can’t really link it to anything, except maybe backups.

Hi there,

Sometimes images may appear missing on your site while still showing up in the Assets panel. This usually happens when there’s a disconnect between the asset reference and its URL. You can quickly fix this by replacing the asset with itself:

  1. Go to your Assets panel
  2. Hover over the missing image
  3. Click the “…” (more options) icon
  4. Select “Replace”
  5. Choose the same image file from your computer
  6. Click “Replace” to confirm

This process will generate a fresh URL for the asset and restore all instances where it’s used across your site.
