Image is stretching disproportionately, what am I doing wrong?

Hello all,

Under the section titled: section_layout410 there is a background image (business people walking) that is getting stretched once the browser is fully scaled to above 1280px. Can someone help me figure out what I am doing wrong? I’ve tried adjusting hte positioning and its relativity but nothing seems to work.

Hi there,

To fix the stretched background image in your section, follow these settings:

  1. Select the section with the background image
  2. In the Style panel, locate the Background settings
  3. Under Background Image Size, select the “Cover” preset
  4. Use the Background Position controls to adjust how the image aligns within the section

The Cover preset ensures your image fills the background while maintaining its original proportions, preventing distortion. While some parts of the image may be cropped depending on screen size, this approach provides the most professional and consistent appearance across devices.
