Image inside link block disappears when link block URL is set

I have an image inside a link block. When I use the editor to change the URL of this link block (or even open the link settings), the image disappears.

When I go into the designer, the actual image is gone from the hierarchy. So Webflow is actually deleting it. It does not exhibit this behavior in the designer, only the editor.
