Image in flexbox higher then neighbouring text div

Hi! I made 2 divs that should be the same height.
One has an image, the other has text. The image should be the same height as the text div, but somehow the image is doing his own thing.

Can anyone tell me how to get it to max 100% height of the text div that it’s next to?
Thanks so much in advance!

hi @Eva_H your request formulation is very broad as there are many divs with an image next to them.

the best way to get accurate help is to follow the forum post guide that is pinned on top of each section, if you have missed it here they are.

When posting please:

  • Required: Share your project’s Read-Only link AND live site’s Published link
  • The read-only link is a special URL generated in the Dashboard to allow others to view your project in the Webflow Designer. How to get your project’s read-only link?
  • The published link is the webflow.io subdomain where you can view the live site with custom code running. It is important to share this link, as custom code does not run in the Designer.
  • Upload as many screenshots/screencast videos as possible to help others help you faster
  • Add a description and/or post a link to a working example of what you’re trying to achieve
  • Reply to users by tagging using the @ sign followed by their forum username like this: @Eva_H

In your case, you should provide also some screenshots of where is your problem you are trying to solve.

My only pure guess is you are talking about this section. If it is correct you should first create some model on paper of how it should look and based on this build your HTML structure.

Hi! Thanks for your reply, the issue is with the event pages.
My guess is that it’s because the text comes out of a CMS. But I’m honestly not sure.

For now I fixed it by making the photo a background of the div, but I’m not sure if this is the correct solution.

hi @Eva_H there are always many ways how to achieve an identical result. If it does what it should do and responsiveness works correctly then it is a correct solution.
